I work. I sleep. I like drinking coffee with my husband and cocktails with my people. I want to buy a house. I want to be a mom. I want to cut the unhealthy food/mindsets/excuses from my life and just be better.

Back from a memorial for Sean’s grandfather. A lot of love and memories in that family!

Going through some of our newer instax pictures. (Taken with Instagram)

One of my favorites from our wedding so far.

  • Today it clicked that I have just over two months to reach any pre-wedding goals of mine. It’s exciting and intimidating, all in one.
  • I have all sorts of ideas (and had a very helpful brain-storming session with my family over the weekend! Thanks, brother!) and a good deal of action I need to take. It makes me feel a little better knowing that I have a direction, but just intimidated by the cost/commitment to that direction.
  • I’m pretty sure that I need to unsubscribe from wedding blogs on the tumblr and my Google Reader in the next week or so. It’s just going to make me doubt the direction that I’m going and want to change everything.
  • As different as some of the weddings on My Fair Wedding are from what I am hoping mine will turn out like, watching it has given me some helpful planning tips!
  • I had hoped to lose a little bit more weight than I have at this point. I haven’t been as dedicated as I should have been, but I haven’t been doing awful. I am proud of myself for what I have accomplished there, but know that I need to kick it in gear. I want to feel confident not only on my wedding day, but continually.
  • I really appreciate the input that I’ve received from some people, but need to remember that it’s really about what Sean and I think will be best.
  • I’ve let myself get bummed and stressed out when things haven’t gone exactly right. “Everything is going wrong” will not be my mindset. Because Sean and I are doing great and really, that’s the part that matters.

He’s definitely happy about this. (Photo by hannarae)

  1. Knock out more wedding plans.Save the Dates need to be sent, website updated, decor stuff planned, menu planned…
  2. 30 Day Shred.I’ve been hearing a lot about people doing this and liking it. Let’s do this!
  3. Drink more water.Half your weight in ounces every day.
  4. Plan out vacation days.So I know that accrue a lot where I work, but I still have to strategize.
  5. Organize room. After changing my outfit about 5 billion times for our engagement photos, our room is destroyed. Oops.

  1. Jobs. Well, I’ve applied and positions have been filled. I’m still here.
  2. Find a new exercise routine. Mostly! I haven’t done as well as I’d like, but I’ve started. A co-worker and I have started walking home a few times a week. I have a routine at home I’m tried to get used to.
  3. Dye my hair. So I dyed my hair in an attempt to be more comfortable with my “long hair.” And I like the dye, it’s just a little darker than planned. But also I cut my hair. Oopsie.
  4. Take some time for myself. I really haven’t done this and I still think that I need to.
  5. Plan my dang wedding. I’ve done a lot of what I should, but not nearly enough. March will be crunch time, but there was a lot of research in February.
  6. #FEBphotoaday. Hell yeah, I did it!
  7. Treat yo’ self. So I bought the table as planned. No tattoo or purse quite yet, though!
